Ackerman Dog Run

The Ackerman Dog Run is located off Sycamore Ave in West Ashley.

It's a smallish dog park, but with lots of trees to provide shade for both people and dogs. If your dog is the kind that likes to run long distances chasing after balls or just likes to tear around in wide open spaces, Ackerman probably isn't the dog park for you since all the trees would probably get in the way of those long throws.

A water fountain provides a source of water for thirsty dogs.

Benches are available for people to sit in for relaxing/socializing while the dogs play. A sign/bulletin board provides a place for people to put event and pet-related notices up.
