Founded in 1999, the Charleston Fine Art Dealers’ Association (CFADA) consists of the city’s most prominent galleries who are dedicated to developing the Charleston art market into a nationally recognized fine art destination for talented artists, art enthusiasts and art collectors. The association is a source of diverse fine art in the South.
The Charleston Fine Art Dealers’ Association hosts two premier fine art events in Charleston, South Carolina. Its annual Palette and Palate Stroll, an exclusive evening dedicated to fine art, cuisine and wine, takes place every second Friday in July. This ever-popular event is presented as part of the Charleston Fine Art Dealers’ Association’s Studio Series, benefiting its visual arts scholarship fund. In November, the association hosts a premier fine art weekend, Fine Art Annual. Since 2004, the association raised more than $100,000 for the Charleston County high schools’ fine art programs. In 2007, CFADA partnered with the Charleston Art Auction to bring even higher quality art to the historic city.
