Welcome to the Charleston Wiki.
This Wiki provides a place for Charlestonians to start a body of knowledge about local places, people, and events. It seems that every website containing information about Charleston exists solely for tourists and represents a distinct business interest. Those sites serve a need. The Charleston Wiki Project, however, exists primarily for Charlestonians, and is non-profit, non-political, and has no ulterior motives or interests. This is essentially a giant piece of concrete awaiting graffiti. Just keep it nice, as non-partisan as possible, and good grammar and spelling never hurt anyone.
