History
In 2002, a part-time employee at Osaka was arrested for taking part in a multi-state ring of credit card thefts. This event was covered extensively by local media, including street interviews asking random people if Osaka stole their credit card information. As a result, there is a continuing rumor that you should never use a credit card as Osaka.
Osaka used to have six booths, a sushi bar, and four hibachi tables. After a fire in 2004, the restaurant was remodelled with more booths replacing the hibachi tables.
