Red's Ice House is a locally owned Restaurant and Bar located on beautiful Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, SC. Red's has been in business since 1947. Red's Ice House typically closes around Jan-Feb each year for "vacation". The day before they close Red's has been known to cook everything left in it's kitchen and gives it away free to customers.
Red's Unique Features
- Located directly on Shem Creek
- Boat landing where you can park your boat and hop onto Red's deck for a drink
- Open aired crow's nest bar which is 2 stories high complete with couches and great views
- Thursday night is free shrimp or free oyster night starting a 6PM. They unload a fresh batch of either shrimp or oysters right off the boat at Red's and cook it up and hand it out to customers free of charge until the catch is all gone.

- The patio seating is pet friendly
- Live music at night
- Johnny's Sunset Bar also know as Red's tiki bar
- Yappy hour where dogs and their people can hang out. Usually one Wednesday a month and features local dog related rescues and organizations.
