Stupid Mike was a local radio personality featured on 96 Wave . I can find no reference to Mike's real 1st name. Mike was also sometimes refered to a "S" Mike. His father is also a 96 Wave personality and he goes by the on air name "Stupid Mike Senior". Stupid Mike has worked mainly with the morning shows and has stayed on air despite the firing of several morning shows including Dick Dale and the Storm and Kenny Show. Mike is approximately 22 years old and typically 96 Wave has thrown him a birthday bar crawl in downtown Charleston. Stupid Mike is known for his skull cap and goggle sunglasses.

Mike's Political Career
Stupid Mike attempted to run for Mayor of James Island, SC. Due to the rules of running for political office he may no longer be a live DJ on 96 Wave. 96 Wave promoted Mike for office and found other ways in which he could participate with the station.
Mike's Work
Stupid Mike was loved for his on air antics and stoner like comments. His most famous line is "Thanks" which he uses repeatedly throughout his spots. "S" Mike is credited with 96 Wave's Friday morning rude awakenings, grilling on the Cooper River Bridge, bench pressing a christmas tree, getting dehydrated from locking himself in a car, and ran for the mayor of James Island.
"S" Mike's most loved performances might be his interview bits. He typically hung out at downtown bars asks questions to locals. Here is a summary of some of his regular skits:
Stall Tactics
Mike sits in a bathroom stall and attempts to have in depth conversations about current events with other guys as they also use the restroom. This skit typically ends with Stupid Mike trying to have someone say "royal flush" and then he flushes the toilet and says "Thanks".
Have you ever banged a black guy?
This skit has Stupid Mike asking girls a series of questions trying to determine if the girl has ever had sex with a black man. Some of his lead up questions include "Name a professional athlete?", "McDonalds or KFC?", "Latte or Mocca?"

Some of his lead up questions include: "Is there graffiti on the walls were you live?", "Have you ever heard a gun shot in your neighborhood?", "Malt liquor or wine?", "Have you ever eaten at a soup kitchen?"
Have you ever been to prison?
"Have you ever fashioned a shive?", "Do you know what a fi-fi is?"
Are the twins real?
Mike is trying to determine if the girls breasts are real or fake. Some of his questions are: "Were you popular in middle school?", "Were you a cheerleader?", "Jennifer Aniston or Pamela Anderson?"
Are you a moaner or a screamer?
"Starbucks or Dance clubs?", "Rollercoasters or long walks?"
Sampson
In this skit Mike just starts yelling at a local resident things like: "Hey Sampson", "I haven't seen you in a long time Sampson", "How are you doing Sampson?" Mike is trying to make the peroson say the words "My name isn't Sampson."
