Tony the Peanut Man

Tony the Peanut Man (A.K.A. Anthony Wright) is a Charleston original. He can be seen at Charleston Riverdogs games selling his fresh hot boiled peanuts. He wears a shirt bearing his image and on the back of the shirt are the words to his jingle that he will gladly sing for you if you say these words: "Hey Tony, what kind of peanuts ya got". As he sings the words to his jingle he also dances! Tony can be found sometimes at the Saturday morning Downtown Farmers Market in Marion Square.
