The Waterfront Park is a city park located right on Charleston Harbor. There is an excellent view of the USS Yorktown (CV-10) and the new Arthur Ravenel Bridge.

Located near the marsh side of the park near the boardwalk are 4 large plaques depicting the Charleston penninsula during the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and illustrate just how much the penninsula has grown over time. A 'You are here' arrow on each one provides the viewer with some perspective of the penninsular growth.
